What it is
Mud packing is an ancient holistic practice that uses nutrient-rich clay. In Quantum Clay Therapy, small amounts of a specialized mineral clay are applied to specific areas of the body, such as old injuries, scars and surgery sites. These are called "interference fields".
The idea behind it: injuries, surgeries, dental work, injections, concussions and scars can disrupt the body's natural energy flow (its "biofield"), sometimes long after the tissue has healed. Think of a kinked garden hose: too much flow on one side, a trickle on the other. Mud packing aims to gently "un-kink the hose" so energy and communication can flow more freely.
The clay
We use a clean-sourced, unheated blend of rare volcanic clay and kaolin clay, naturally rich in minerals. It also contains Shilajit, a mineral resin from the mountains of India, and Peat Magna, rich in humic and fulvic acids. Products are from Premier Research Laboratories.
Who it may help
Quantum Clay Therapy may be worth exploring if you have:
- Old injuries, scars or surgery sites that still feel "not quite right"
- Lingering discomfort after an accident, concussion or whiplash
- An interest in energy-based support alongside your other care
Clients report benefits that may include less discomfort, more energy, clearer thinking and a better overall sense of well-being. Everyone responds differently, and results are not guaranteed.
Quantum Clay Therapy is a complementary, energy-based practice. It does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition and is not a substitute for medical care.
What a session is like
- Session 1: consult, body map and mud therapy. We talk through your history and map your interference fields (old injuries, scars and so on). Then we open the energetic pathways and mud-pack up to three areas and their related reflex areas. It ends with a 30-minute ionic foot bath to help your body process the session. Allow about 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Session 2, about two weeks later: follow-up and mud therapy. Up to three areas.
- Additional sessions depend on what your body needs and are priced based on complexity.
Common questions
Will I need more than two sessions?
That depends on your body's needs. We'll talk about it at your follow-up.
Will there be mud all over me?
No. This is not a messy process! Only small amounts of clay are placed on specific spots.
Will I feel anything?
Everyone is different. Some people feel tingling during the session. Others notice shifts in the days after.
